Celiac's Disease effects the G. I. tract and is life long. People with Celiac's can not have wheat, oats, barley, or rye. That means no bread, pasta, or crackers. Even if a knife touches bread then is dipped back into the peanut butter if they eat it it could result in days of consequences. The people affected by this may not have symptoms but the damage is permanent. If not treated properly they could get severe problems. The gluten in their system weakens their immune system making them vulnerable to other illnesses. |
